About the project

Giorgetti is the protagonist in Croatia in the new Villa Nai 3.3, a luxury eco resort on the island of
Dugi otok. Giorgetti reconfirms itself as a reference point for the definition of great works of interior design by designing the luxurious Villa Nai 3.3, a resort consisting of five rooms and three suites. Started in 2014, the project was commissioned by the company of the same name, a producer of world-class
olive oil, with the aim of offering guests a true cultural and enogastronomic experience, studied
down to the smallest detail. In fact, the resort includes a room dedicated to olive oil tasting, produced on the adjacent site, whose machinery and gears are visible through the glass window
on the main façade.

While the clearly deconstructivist architecture of the hotel was designed by the renowned Croatian architect Nikola Bašić, Nai 3.3 chose Giorgetti to design all the interiors, the main facade and the suspended ceilings. Villa Nai 3.3 stands in a 40,000 square metre olive grove and is designed not to be an obstacle to nature: it is an A+ energy class building. In continuity between the interior and exterior, the walls of the entire resort have been built using local Istria quarry stone, avoiding the increase in carbon dioxide emissions.

Each room and suite has been customized in terms of layout, finishes and interior design, with solutions chosen from the Giorgetti collections. All the rooms and suites have a patio conceived as an extension of the interiors and to allow guests easy access to the olive grove. While the rooms and suites are differentiated by mood and colour, the exteriors follow the same composition in shades of white and blue to provide a coherent exterior aesthetic. The resort also features outdoor spaces, helipads, an indoor and outdoor pool, fitness and wellness areas and a 29-member team to serve guests.

The entrance, lobby, restaurant and cigar room are also furnished with Giorgetti pieces and suggest from the first impact the refined, sober and contemporary atmospheres typical of the Giorgetti lifestyle. The lobby is characterised by an imposing special version of the Swords chandelier with a diameter of 160 centimetres and, for the restaurant, the company has designed a customized solution for the tables, creating an ad hoc dining version of the Oti tables. The atmospheres of the rooms and suites designed by Giorgetti reveal an experience of absolute comfort in the combination of wood and the textile details of the upholstery. The colours take their cue from the naturally light ones or from the deep ones of precious fibres. Great attention is also given to detail, with the nobility of wood and leather alternating with metal elements, glass and marble, with customized solutions for the TV furniture in four of the five rooms.
