About the project
The concept for the restaurant VITA, inside the Ibis Styles Roma Aurelia starts right from this idea, thinking about a place that will have a different life from the one that Rome has got: it will be at the same time a grocery store, a cafeteria, a bakery, a bar for aperitifs, a pizzeria, a restaurant for breakfast/lunch or for a private dinner to celebrate a special event.
The brutalist structure in reinforced concrete of the beams and the pillars is in contrast with the use of natural materials such as the wood of the floor and the monumental tables, as well as the warm colour palette that recalls the one of the Roman buildings.
Designed by Rizoma Architecture, it is an informal place enriched by the presence of Italian products and flavours, where food and drinks will be the leading actors of the scene, where the artworks of the roman artist Hitnes, furniture, materials and colours are going to give a unique identity to the restaurant.
