About the project

A showroom with the first-ever DTS (Downtown Store) concept for Volvo Group is designed and fitted out by Steven Leach Group, has opened in #StarfieldGoyang in Korea. It implements a contemporary concept of targeting the millennial generation who enjoy and experience urban lifestyle.

At the entrance, there are symbols representing the identity of the Swedish brand, such as the “”Dollar Hose,”” along with traditional Korean artifacts like white porcelain pottery and “sotdae” (a traditional Korean totem pole).

As you enter the exhibition hall, you will feel as if the natural beauty of Scandinavia has been transported with large oak trees placed throughout the showroom. The nature-friendly exhibition space, harmonizing with oak trees and nature from Northern Europe, is the first of its kind among imported car showrooms.

Natural elements, including oak trees native to Northern Europe, have been incorporated to create an environmentally friendly atmosphere. Imported furniture from Sweden has been used, along with finishes like ash wood and even a fireplace, offering an experience reminiscent of a Scandinavian living room, as if you’ve stepped into a living room in Sweden.
