Teknion Opens New London Showroom

Leading global furniture manufacturer furthers its commitment to UK & Europe with a new showroom within the Clerkenwell Design District.

Teknion Opens New London Showroom

Teknion today announced the opening of a new London showroom. Situated in the heart of Clerkenwell, the 6,000-square-foot (557 m²) two-floor showroom is a fully agile workspace that supports the community and partners alike. The space promotes collaboration, innovation, agility, health & wellbeing, and comfort for visitors and staff.

“The showroom is a learning and community hub encouraging visitors, partners, and clients to use the space to engage in business, community, and social initiatives,”

said Lawrence Rivers, Regional Vice President

“We’re excited to have an encompassing go-to location where our staff, visitors and customers can interact.”

The new showroom is part of the Teknion Global WELL Portfolio – selected and designed to reflect the principles and features of WELL accreditation – and has adapted a biophilic profile for the overall design style. Natural light beams through the Grade II listed building’s original cast iron windows and reflects off the organic, neutral-coloured walls to completely illuminate the interior. Pops of colour add vibrancy to the showroom’s raw architectural elements, including original bare brick walls and reclaimed timber floors.

The space promotes WELL Health & Wellbeing standards via seminars, community activities, design forums, and networking events. On display, Teknion’s latest products, current workplace trends, and thoughtful furniture predictions illustrate the strategic steps taken to further enrich the brand’s social, environmental, and economic impact. Pieces featured throughout – emphasizing Teknion’s values and goals – include, but are not limited to: new Routes collection, Banqs, Zones – designed by Pearson Lloyd. As well as Tek Booth, Expansion case goods, Teknion Walls (glazed partitioning), hiSpace workstations, and various signature pieces from the Studio TK collection.

The space also showcases (for the first time in the UK) Teknion’s global fabric brand “LUUM Textiles”, via a fully merchandised standalone concession.

The showroom general contractor was DOI Group Ltd. Teknion’s North American design team worked collaboratively with a local design firm to develop the showroom’s concept, ensuring it embraced both local culture and architecture.
