Markus Jehs and Jürgen Laub met at the University of Schwäbisch Gmünd while studying industrial design. Following graduation in 1994, they set up their own studio in Stuttgart, where they design, among other things, lamps and furniture for renowned international manufacturers. Their designs are distinguished by functionality, clarity, formal stringency and the imaginative use of materials.
