Bolloré Logistics, a global leader in international transport & logistics, built an eight-storey regional distribution centre and tech warehouse facility that has been certified as the first Biodiversity project in Asia and aims to set the benchmark for warehouse design. ID21 transformed the public spaces, including the lobby, innovation hub, offices, and canteen into dynamic, inclusive, and functional spaces that embody the company’s focus on sustainability, innovation and employee wellness.

With a large client segment in the luxury perfumes and cosmetics sector, it was important that the design aesthetic not only serves as a brand expression of the company’s vision but also complement the luxury brands they serve. The ground floor lobby creates an impactful arrival experience with a large black feature wall adorned with modern timber strips and the company logo in stainless steel.

The floorplan is voluntarily open and features a massive spiral in the centre that echoes the spiralveyor, the centrepiece of Bolloré’s modern warehouse and the tallest in Asia. It is a symbol of Bolloré’s state-of-the-art supply-chain facilities. Here it seamlessly connects all areas of the space and showcases exhibition content for visitors to learn about the company.

At the innovation lab, curved walls and round rooms create a dynamic space that allows for visual connectivity and draws visitors toward the “experience innovation incubator” at the centre. The Learning Centre also hosts a state-of-the-art amphitheatre, as well as innovation rooms for brainstorming and knowledge exchange.

The main office provides various meeting facilities, collaboration spaces, and furniture settings for their staff to choose what work setting best suits their task. The rooftop canteen, outdoor terrace, gym and recreational area provides a space for employees to relax and recharge during the busy workday, as well as to host external guests.
