Raising the bar – A state-of-the-art sports bar fit out for Radisson Blu As a popular hotel venue in Dubai Media City, the Radisson Blu sports bar is a hotspot for sports spectators. Unchanged for over a decade, the existing space was beginning to look tired and outdated. In need of modernization, Radisson Blu asked the designers to transform the venue into a state-of-the-art sports bar. And with the FIFA 2022 World Cup just around the corner, it was the perfect time to get the ball rolling. The initial timeline of 45 days was cut down to just 30 — so the plan had to work twice as fast. And with a hotel full of guests — we had to carefully plan our work in shifts to avoid disturbances. After the sleek design by Studio EM was finalized, it was up to us to bring it to life. 4,080 square feet across two separate floors. The finished space is a high-end, contemporary venue — complete with the very best audio-visual equipment. With 32 flat-screen TVs ranging from 55″ to 85″ viewable from every angle, spectators will never miss a single moment of action — wherever they sit.
