About the project
The villa, located on an East Coast island and adjacent to a forest park, is celebrated for its “Nassim of the East” garden house aesthetic, designed by WOHA Architects and Yabu Pushelberg. It stands out as Singapore’s first with private elevators for each household, and O’s Villa, a project within, has received numerous design awards for its integration of humanity and nature. The design ethos maintains an eternal spring ambiance, blending nature with luxury through amber glass and wood veneers, creating a serene, comfortable space where living areas transition seamlessly between social and solitary functions.
The interior combines contemporary design with an artistic approach, drawing inspiration from Michelangelo to create a space of warmth, elegance, and luxury. With an open layout that brings the outdoors inside, the design focuses on texture and natural flow to enhance vitality and relaxation. Minimalistic elements, strategic lighting, and carefully chosen furnishings emphasize a harmonious blend of modernity and nature, aiming for spiritual freedom and inner peace through a simplistic, yet richly detailed aesthetic that promotes a seamless living environment.
