Madrid in Love developed this project with absolute respect for the work carried out by the architect, Fernando Higueras, during the 1950s. Starting from this base, a space was articulated around a central axis formed by the shelf and the staircase that joins the three floors and keeps the view of the original concrete structure. As a complementary material and in response to the client’s needs to counteract the coldness of the concrete, the designers opted for wood, carpet, vegetation and warm light. These materials achieve the necessary warmth to contribute to the development of a more relaxed workspace that exudes a sensation of peace and calm.
