About the project
A lifestyle hotel in Jumeirah, the Zabeel House encapsulates themes of luxury, eclectic substances, traditional motifs. These themes beautifully juxtapose with highlights catered to modern tastes, like wire mesh ceiling panels and concrete effect tiles, to provide guests with a surreal experience.
Despite its open-plan setting, the wide-open expanse is controlled with shelving units that has bespoke accessories that help divide the area into private spaces for separate groups.
The setting is transitional and conveniently flexible because of the bar unit that can be screened at specific times. The restaurant highlights quirky Koi fish painted throughout the interior to add a charismatic charm, while Japanese slang carved into the reclaimed timber creates a vibe of informality and sense of identity.
