Slamp: Crafting Illumination as Art

In a charming atelier just outside Rome, spanning 8,000 square metres, Slamp weaves a compelling story of light. With a focus on aesthetics and ethics, they craft lighting using exclusive materials and sustainable technology.

Slamp uses flexible and durable techno polymers that are thermally, chemically, and electrically optimised. Via their pursuit, they reduce CO2 emissions through low-impact cold cutting and recycle excess materials to create new objects.

Drawing inspiration from the world around us, architectural elements, and artistic developments, Slamp transforms these influences into luminous, versatile objects. For professionals creating spaces like hotels, restaurants, and offices, Slamp offers solutions that balance international lighting standards with captivating, original design.

For instance, Slamp’s Nuvem is more than just a ceiling light; it’s a modular wonder that originated from a 1980 sculpture’s symbology. Made up of foldable metre-long hexagonal sections, it can be endlessly combined to create unique floating landscapes in spaces. With bidirectional spotlights, Nuvem illumination is one of its kind. One can choose between white or velvet modules and spots. Keep it simple or mix and match for a striking look.
