About the project
Located in Mazaya Business Avenue, one of the many high rises in the Jumeirah Lake Towers cluster, EuroTech’s new offices offer an innovative, techie yet urban space.
Established in Dubai in 2008, the firm offers flexible and outsourced, around the clock services, IT support and reassurance, to small and medium-sized businesses throughout the UAE.
Their wish was for an office that would act as a showcase to create a great first impression and experience. This is quite a broad directive open to interpretation, and KPS translated this brief cleverly, with techie paraphernalia embedded everywhere, from video walls to integrated, switchable glass partitions and LED server rooms. All within a trendy retro design that marries the hardware in a warm Scandinavian look and feel with the use of soft materials, such as wood and carpet. The colour scheme is primarily blue and grey with pops of colours incorporated into the furniture and fabrics. The ceiling was left exposed, and sprayed charcoal gray, adding the ever popular industrial chic element.
The biggest challenge faced within the design was to achieve all the client’s requirements within a specific budget and still maintain the feature areas, such as the boardroom, the waiting area and the breakout area, and KPS has managed the design and fitout of this directive, within the constraints, with aplomb.
