About the project
This office is designed by YUAR Architects. The peculiarity lies in the simplicity and clarity of the floor plan. A mix of closed and semi-closed offices are distributed along the façade. A single corridor is taking you around the whole office. The centre part accommodates a large closed kitchen with visual contact to the common working space. Also located in the centre are a copy corner, phone booths, and a small meeting room.
To highlight this circular disposition around the core, the partition walls between the offices all have a glazed part that connects to the façade, allowing this visual connection even if separated physically. Colours, materials, carpets and artifacts are chosen to follow corporate design rules. While the corridor walls display a history timeline of the company, some company products like engine parts are built-in as furniture elements. The dominant colours are black and yellow reflecting the company logo. Wooden space dividers with greenery aerate the space and draw a clear limit between corridor and working places.
