About the project
Personio, a young start-up with a dynamic growth trajectory, expanded its offices in its Madrid headquarters. Situated in a buzzing part of the city, right next to offices of other well-known companies, such as Google, Personio wanted to create a vibrant, creative office space for their fast-growing team. Designers INpuls configured a youthful interior design concept for the 1800 square metre space divided over two equal floors, that emanated a young vibe.
The Personio-blue hub sits in the centre and connects both floors, includes all the needed spaces for defined rooms, such as meeting situations, phonebooths, and a kitchen space. It represents the heart of the office. The different types of entrance situations define the amount of privacy and the usage of the room. Located right next to the centre is the co-working area. A warm, bright camel colour represents Madrid and invites the employees to socialise and work creatively. The main workspace for solitary desks is divided into a darker area, which defines a space of concentrated solitary work, and a brighter, warmer area, located around the louder common areas. But what pulls all the spaces together is the incredibly unique, raw finishing of the exposed ceilings that really makes the design stand out.
