About the project
The design team at LW Design, headed by Pooja Shah-Mulani and Jesper Axel Petersen, transformed Row on 45 into a delightful haven. The restaurant derives its name from a carefully chosen combination of words, symbolising the essence of the venue. “ROW” stands for “Refinement of Work,” reflecting the dedication to crafting the entire concept. Additionally, it pays homage to its sister concept opening on London’s esteemed Savile Row. “45” signifies the venue’s remarkable location, offering panoramic views and an elevated experience.
Row on 45 embraces the very essence of refinement and elegance. The restaurant’s concept revolves around the idea of a celebrated old friend’s home, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that delights and comforts guests. The design exudes sophistication, from the classic wall panelling and timber corniches to the intricately crafted architraves and detailed profiles reminiscent of a distinguished private residence.
Upon arriving at Row on 45, visitors are greeted by a stunning foyer adorned with a leather and brass-clad welcome desk, complemented by solid parquet flooring and a lush fur wallcovering backdrop. A leather reading chair nestled in front of a built-in bookcase completes the inviting entrance. The culinary journey begins in the Champagne Lounge, offering breathtaking views of Palm Jumeirah. visitors are treated to an aperitif and welcomed by the resident sommelier in a room featuring a residential-style bar boasting the finest collection of champagne. Poltrona Frau wing chairs in emerald leather provide a comfortable setting to savour the view and indulge in the introductory courses, whilst satirical artworks add a touch of humour.
