French woven flooring brand, Dickson, is both a designer and manufacturer. Managing the entire production line in France from end to end, quality control is a way of life for this brand, and an integral part of the company’s operations. Each square metre that is produced undergoes rigorous in-house testing, and it is these standards that allow Dickson to guarantee its products for up to 15 years.

Unique identity and design 

The Dickson Woven Flooring collection combines the brand’s expertise with the contemporary vision of their designers. This fresh perspective and distinctive identity cultivated by their Design Studio is artfully expressed in the collection’s eight ranges. The integration of jacquards and new colours offers even more design and graphics, thanks to innovative and original stylistic effects. The structure of the woven vinyl gives a lot of character to the surface of the flooring and plays naturally with light. Depending on the shape, colour and layout, the appearance of your floor will vary in subtle shades of colour, based on perspective and intensity of the light.

Floors with advanced technical properties 

Dickson woven vinyl flooring is created to be resistant, comfortable, easy to maintain and stylish, for the most demanding public environments. This innovation was developed in their factory in Wasquehal, in the north of France.  The vinyl flooring withstands intensive traffic (Class 33) and has unique acoustic capacities (18 decibels).

Plus, the brand’s ultra-realistic, 3D flooring simulator helps architects and designers to easily realise their projects. An innovative and intuitional digital tool, the Dickson Flooring Project  allows professionals to visualise a physical space and redesign interiors by experimenting with the multiple textures and colours available in their flooring collection. A simulation in four different public access environments – offices, hotels, restaurants and stores – also enables users to physically visualise their projects and personalise them without limit, resulting in an ultra-realistic rendering. This floor simulator is the first in the sector to incorporate chromatic variations, and integrates all the woven vinyl floor collections imagined by the brand.

Sustainable initiatives

With a view to improving the wellbeing of users as well as the quality of air in interior spaces, Dickson’s R&D department has unveiled a flooring collection entirely free of phthalate – this includes the top layer and underlay – and free of heavy metals. The brand complies with FloorScore certified, VOC emission criteria and is recognised as contributing to indoor air quality.

Plans for growth in the MEA region

Dickson continues to reinforce their presence in the Middle East region with a GCC Sales Manager based locally, catering to both Dickson® and Sunbrella brands, and brand partners in each country.
