About the project
GE’s offices in Dubai Internet City exude a somewhat futuristic vibe as you enter. The fitout was by ATS and the project management was undertaken by Turner & Townsend.
In the main reception, an oval desk, along with the circular recessed lighting mirrored above, seem subtly interplanetary and space age. Befitting as they are all about innovation and the future.
The communal spaces are cleverly demarcated by various unique design elements, such as a faux, linear wall of planters, and the furnishings and their colours create unique hubs for varying activity. The overall design is modern, with a touch of industrial from the exposed ceiling and the brushed concrete.
The recessed oval overhead in the reception area is repeated along the various spaces, but this time hanging from the ceiling, continuing the pseudo space theme. Bright pops of colour dotted throughout add a vibrant touch to the overall interior.
