Ever wonder why we call it the Living Room

In most homes and residential projects, the living room is that one area fortunate enough to receive the most attention. It’s arguable the most important room in the house – it’s where you or your family spends the bulk of their time, where you entertain guests, or just binge Netflix and eat pizza. Some Feng Shui experts claim it is the room with the most energy flowing through the house, and as such, should be designed in a way that promotes positivity and warmth.

But not everyone designs a living room in the same way. Some keep it formal and reserve the room for family gatherings and entertaining friends. Others see it as a casual mixed-use space – socialize, watch TV, and eat dinner. Either way, the living room is a great way to showcase your personality and taste.
