About the project
Human connectivity was the starting point for the architecture and interior design of Microsoft Portugal’s building, focusing on maximising well being and human interaction. Designed by Openbook Architecture, the spatial reconstruction of the building’s interior included four floors to promote encounters and collaboration in a comfortable and informal environment, along with a sense of harmony between man and technology. The introduction of textures and details from Portuguese culture define the space, making it original and unique, and in opposition to the trend of global standardisation.
